Several families chose Pheasant Ridge as a venue to celebrate graduation this year!

June 27 was a big day for (4) recent graduates!  Naomi Knourek and Scott Segel graduated from High School, and Clayton Knourek and Pete Marsala from 8th grade.  The weekend started off with a wine tasting and appetizer party up in the Lodge.  Everyone brought their favorites and enjoyed sharing and taste testing!

Beautiful weather helped to make the celebration a great success.  Saturday morning Miss Betsy held a special scavenger hunt on "Shark Beach" for the young.  She peppered the sand with over (600) fossilized shark's teeth for the kids to hunt - what a lot of fun they had! (Miss Betsy belongs to a National Orgination for Fossil Hunters and is very knowledgable about fossils and the finding of them.  She spends a lot of time in mines and in rivers to find her many treasures!)  A big Thank You to Miss Betsy & John for all the effort they put into that very successful event!

Everyone then gathered around the barbeques and grilled delicious burgers for a make your own burger bar.  Kids went off swimming or on one of the hayrides that were coming and going all afternoon.  Adults relaxed and visited after the grilling was completed.

Then the Karaoke started at the Boathouse.  There was a lot of good singers and even those that werent so good, still were having a fun time!  Even if you werent singing, the entertainment was great!

The night ended with a fabulous fireworks display that included a musical soundtrack!  Not your everyday fireworks, for sure - it was more of a PRODUCTION!
