Come join us for our next canoe trip down the Black River! In May, several members & their guests were taken to their place of departure by Black River Canoe Rental, and after a quick talk on the "does & don'ts" - down the river they paddled!!

It was smooth floating all the way, with some nice restful stops at the many sandbars that line the river.

At the end of the trip, they were picked up by the shuttle and then taken back to their vehicles (no worrying about where to leave your car, etc.).  Back to the Lodge where Pheasant Ridge cooked yummy sliders (mini-burgers) for all to enjoy!  We also had a speical Birthday to celebrate - Connor Cole turned 9! What a special way for him to celebrate!

Everyone agreed they will certainly do it again - especially with the shuttle service provided by the canoe rental.  New friends were made & new neighbors met! All in all they had a great time & no one even got wet!
