Most Creative - The Cole Family as Smores.

It's Halloween at Pheasant Ridge & the spooks & ghosts were all in a party mood!

Linda, Marie, & Lois worked all morning to transform the Lodge into a "ghostly mansion" for the evenings costume ball.  The decorations they brought were something else & before you knew it - the Lodge was ready for the party!

Clayton & Dustin got the party started by hiding a load of pumpkins on the trails for the little goblins to hunt for.  Off they went to hunt for pumpkins & Parker was the first to run back with his pumpkin (good job Parker)!  As they all returned with their orange "prizes", the courtyard was transformed into an "operating room" for the pumpkin carvers.  Pumpkin "guts" were everywhere & then the carving began.  There were many artistic designs, & even a watermelon was carefully turned a work of art (thanks to Dakota)!  All the "artist" or "pumpkin doctors" did a great job!

The evening costume ball included a huge variety of participants!  The most Creative Costumes had to be the Coles (with their S'mores family costumes).  Prettiest HAD to go to Dakota - while scariest is a toss-up between Ben & Scott!  But, EVERYONE looked fantastic & we have to thank you all for getting into the "spirit" of the event!

We had a HUGE buffet with everyone bringing a dish for the pot luck! Thanks to everyone that brought such tasty delights!  Karaoke was enjoyed by all & some say the spooks & ghosts were even seen dancing in the moonlight!
