Weekend at Bernie's with Bernie at Pheasant Ridge

Thanks to everyone that made it out in the cold for "Weekend at Bernie's Fondue". We had a nice sunny day to start with (even though not much snow melting was going on).  Thanks to Scott for bringing his snowmobile & keeping the younger members entertained with rides on the snowmobile and behind it with sleds.

They sure worked up an appetite for all the yummy fondues that evening.

The turnout was great as was the variety of fondues (no one left hungry)!There were chocolates, caramels, blue cheese, Italian, meats and much more!

We all got in the spirit with our Tropical "Bernie-Wear", though many were sporting long underwear and boots underneath the summer garb!  Kids entertained themselves with Xbox, air hockey, and Wii games and then really had a good time with the bananas dipped in chocolate.  We had special showings of "Weekend at Bernie's 1" & also the sequel on the wide screen in the Lodge.  Needless to say we never ran out of fondue, and everyone left with full stomachs and humming the steel drum songs!

Sunday started with Mr.K's famous Biscuits & Gravy, and then heading out to Duffy's for bowling.  We had the whole alley reserved for our crew & all had a great time while munching on Duffy's delicious pizzas!  Miss Marie decided this was the day to try bowling without the bumpers – and she really did well! Another milestone to remember!

Most headed home from there – sorry to see the weekend end, but happy to have been a part of it.
