Two Double Decker wagons are ready to move out

 The nearby town of Taylor organizes an annual antique tractor hayride that is a beautiful 30 mile trip throughout the rural countryside.  Pheasant Ridge has its own special wagons that we use for these rides.  They are Double Decker wagons that offer a birds eye view of the hills!  Of course we need a heavy duty tractor to tow these, and we owe many thanks to the wonderful Peterson family for the use of their tractor (and to Jordan for driving)!

This year the trip took us to the "On the Farm Dairy Breakfast", where everyone enjoyed a delicious meal of pancakes and sausage.  Then they were able to spin the "Wheel of Cheese" and win various dairy products (cheese, butter, ice cream).

In between stops we did have a downpour or two, but not to worry - the one wagon was quickly wrapped in tarps to provide a dry ride until the rain stopped!

The kids had a blast on the upper decks (under the watchful eyes of the adults on the lower deck). It was a lot of fun and we look forward to the next trip!
