 The Memorial Day Float-Tilla brought out some great designs & imagination!  The idea behind the race is to create a boat that uses milk jugs as your flotation device.

The weekend started off with a camp-pie get together at the Boathouse (cooked over the fire). There was much talk of who's boat would take the win this year & strategies were discussed.

The race showed a lot of effort by many & once again proved that anyone can participate (even the annual Team Disqualification!)! The SS.Cole was the proud winner with an inovative PVC design, and Team Schell came in second with a catamaran style & design all their own. Congrats to everyone (great participation!)!

The day ended with a Chicken Q back at the Boathouse...thanks to everyone that contributed the many side dishes that rounded out the meal & made quite a feast!
