Scott Schell 2008 Huntmaster

The president of Safari Club International (North Country Bowhunters) is fellow member Scott Schell, a Pheasant Ridge cabin owner and member of our Sportsman's Club.  In return for his continuing support of the club and resort, on March 7 & 8, 2008, Pheasant Ridge sponsored and donated to his SCI convention in MN.  The Safari Club put on a great banquet with thousands of dollars in prizes.  If you are ever in the market for an exotic hunt or vacation, this would be the place to check out (they offer many special deals on one of a kind locations).

This year, Scott will be replacing Bill Zebro as Pheasant Ridges Hunt Master.

Scott has been with Pheasant Ridge for over 2 years and has guided for us numerous times. He brings with him much enthusiasm and knowledge in both bow and rifle.   Scott has been on many hunts here and abroad and will share the guidelines used at hunting resorts that have already proven to work and enhance the hunting experience.  Anyone interested in 2008 hunting should notify the Lodge and we will keep you informed of the hunting meetings (which are great fun), as well as up to date on places to hunt, dates, and requirements.

 Bill will stay on to help and advise, as well as organizing local shoots in the area so that shooters can still get out without conflicting with campers and bird watchers in the summer.  Anyone interested, please email the office so we can keep you up to date.
