These rules and reg. are for the Memorial Day Milk JugFloat-Tilla ONLY (not to be confused with the July 4th. Cardboard Regatta.)
Craft can be made of any material forming the framework.Framework must not create buoyant craft without the use of milk jugs.
The only floatation can be 1 gallon or less containers.
Boat can be propelled by anything mechanical that is HOME-MADE (NOT MAN-Made, such as motors).Home-Made paddle wheels (see Zebro 07) can be used. Home-made drive systems using parts from bicycles, or props in true kit form can be used.Or boat can be human powered (boat oars and paddles can be used).
Craft must carry min.of 2 persons on board at all times to advance in the race.
Boat design and parts may be re-used from year to year.
Competitors craft may not be boarded by others or intentionally come in contact with each other.
Anyone 15 years and under MUST wear life vests (it is recommended that EVERYONE wear a life vest, water is COLD this time of year!). (please be sure to bring your own life vests).
Official decisions at time of race are final.
